Hilary Hahn Concert with Belgian National Orchetra

Last year in January, I went to Brussels to see the concert of a famous contemporary violinist, Hilary Hahn, with Belgian National Orchestra. I remember COVID was still around, and although we got vaccinated, we were still wearing masks and being careful — Coughing in public space immediately attracted all the attention 😂 So, this concert was quite special in that I felt like we are getting out of long COVID tunnel finally.

The performance was undoubtly outstanding, and I got goosebumps a few times. Also, the concert hall was filled with “aura”. Classical music critiques as well as professionals were around, and many fans were visible. As a amateur violinist, I have been a fan of Hilary Hahn’s works, espeically ones on Bach. I was really happy that she played Adagio from Sonata No. 1 from Bach (In the video, she plays it from 37 min). I find it quite interesting to find the recording of the concert. Although I was sitting qutie far behind, I can still recognize my seat from the audience 😀
